Property access transfer was discussed.  The board reviewed the documents sent by Mike Walczak and discussed that if we did not grant access the property would be landlocked.  Motion to allow Mr. Walczak a 20 ft single owner easement along the north line of the town parcel.  He would be responsible for having the easement drafted for the board to sign and he would be responsible to file the easement so that the issue does not come up again.  He or anyone utilizing the easement would be responsible for upkeep of the easement, i.e. gravel, grass cutting, etc.

Highway/road report showed that the crew has been hauling gravel and Gary has started grading as we have received some rain.  Also, a blind entrance sign has been erected on Smeester School Road.

The only correspondence was that the county passed a resolution for a 0.5% sale tax increase to be used for road maintenance only.  There was some language in it about up to 50% to go to municipalities.  Chairman Younglove will contact the legislature regarding the language.
