Beecher Lake issues, John Wagner received a call from Lindi Magnusen of the Lake District stating they are having a hard time finding someone to open/close the outhouse on a regular basis. John checked it out and the outhouse needs some repair and it needs cleaning. The Lake District wanted the outhouse to be left open all of the time. The board agreed that we will not leave it opened all the time as there have been problems in the past with dumping and vandalism.
The fishing club came to the meeting regarding the park on the corner of Sand Road and Woodpecker. They would like to volunteer to clean up the trees and debris and possibly in the future to put some benches in. They also mentioned that the pads at the boat landing need attention. The board appreciates that they want to volunteer and told them to go ahead but to keep us informed.
There were no equipment bids that came in so we will keep it open until next meeting and will look for additional people that may be interested.
