The board meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Supervisor Groy. Pledge of allegiance was recited. Dan Groy and John Wagner were present and Mike Younglove was absent and excused. There were 6 residents present.
Motion to adopt the agenda as given by Supervisor Wagner and seconded by Supervisor Groy. Motion carried.
Minutes of the 2/13/24 meeting were read. Motion to accept the minutes as read by Supervisor Wagner and seconded by Supervisor Groy. Motion carried.
Recycling/garbage report showed 17.59 tons of garbage and 2.75 tons of recyclables.

There were no building permits or fire sign applications in February.
Discussion of ongoing road improvement projects showed that the crew has been brushing and doing clean up.
Correspondence were letters from WPS on road improvement project planning; a letter from Marinette County forestry approving stockpile of 10,000 tons of material at pit #42; a Cellcom letter regarding Flex Agreement 1112485 satisfied; and a letter from Marinette County Land Information Department regarding perpetuation of Survey of Landmarks. These were given to Supervisor Groy for his review and kept for Chairman Younglove.
Under public comments Lisa Hanson shared that there is a buyer looking for land to keep bison/deer/wolf on as an educational tool. He currently has a set up down in the southern part of the state but is looking to relocate to this area. Does the town have any restrictions? The board stated that there are currently no restrictions and as long as he complies with DNR requirements, he should be fine.
The other item under public comments was that UWGB is closing the Marinette Campus. Marinette County owns the land/buildings. The county administrator wants to give the campus to Marinette City but there are persons on the county board that think it should be sold to cover shortfalls in budget. Motion by Supervisor Groy to pay bills in the amount of $29,316.20 and seconded by Supervisor Wagner. Motion carried.
Next meeting will be on April 16th, the third Tuesday due to the Annual Meeting at 6:00 p.m. The Board meeting will follow the annual meeting.
