The board meeting was called to order at 6:01 p.m.  Pledge of allegiance was recited.  All board members were present along with 4 residents.  Treasurer was absent and excused.

Motion to adopt agenda as given by Supervisor Groy and seconded by Supervisor Wagner.  Motion carried. 

Minutes of 12/10/24 meeting were read.  Motion to accept the minutes as read by Supervisor Groy and seconded by Supervisor Wagner.  Motion carried.

Treasurer’s report was read by Chairman Younglove.  Motion to accept the report as given by Supervisor Groy and seconded by Supervisor Wagner.  Motion carried. 

Recycling report showed for the month of December that 15.92 tons of garbage was collected along with 5.12 tons of recyclables.  Yearly total were 222.59 tons of garbage and 59.41 tons of recyclables.  Garbage is down and recycling is up from last year’s totals of 234.14 of garbage and 42.43 of recycling.

Report on building permits and fire signs showed 1 building permit for an 18x39 addition on slab onto dwelling on Tucked A Way Drive and 1 fire sign on Dam Road, which is a replacement. 

Considered a variance for two campers on one parcel on Dexter Drive.  The parcel is 9 acres.  Chairman Younglove explained the reasoning why we have land use fees and why we do ordinances.  It was suggested that since it was for family that they divide the parcel and put the second camper on the new parcel.  Motion to deny the variance by Supervisor Groy and seconded by Supervisor Wagner.  Motion carried. 

Animal control is still an issued with loose dogs in the town.  We have two kennels at the old animal control person’s residence.  We will have the road crew go and pick up our two kennels and bring them back and find a place to set them up here.  Supervisor Wagner was tasked with contacting Almost Home animal shelter and see if we made a donation or what it would cost to bring animals up to them. 

Motion to increase the road worker’s wage based on what was budgeted by Supervisor Groy and seconded by Supervisor Wagner.  Motion carried. 

Correspondence was reports from the Zoning Administrator, the fire department and an email stating the changes for GFL pickup and tonnage charges.  Chairman Younglove also stated that the new generator is here but not hooked up due to propane issues.  He is waiting on hearing from Lakes Gas.  We also received an email from LBN regarding a building permit for a model onsite at their business.  This was sent on to Zoning for their review.  It is to be a type of lego home that they plan to have electric, water and septic attached to. 

No public comments.

Items for future meetings are that there will be another variance in March. 

The school is working on meetings and getting out information on a referendum for the April election. 

Chairman Younglove made a motion to approve payment of bills in the amount of $281,783.46 which was seconded by Supervisor Groy.  Motion carried. 

Next meeting will be February 11th at 6:00 p.m.
