BOARD MEETING MINUTES

1/12/21

The board meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m.  All board members were present along with 7 residents.  Pledge of allegiance was recited. 

There were no changes to the agenda. 

Minutes of the 12/8/2020 meeting were read.  Motion to accept the minutes as read by Supervisor Groy, seconded by Supervisor Paulsen.  Motion carried. 

Treasurer’s report given.  Motion to accept the report as given by Supervisor Groy, seconded by Supervisor Paulsen.  Motion carried. 

Recycling report showed that in December there were 14.67 tons of garbage and 4.26 tons of recyclables/paper. 

Last month there were no building permits and no fire signs.

Discussion of ongoing road improvement projects was that the crew was working on equipment and doing some snow removal. 

Correspondence was a 2020 Financial Statement from the Fire Department and a 2020 permit issued report. 

Public comments were that the town website is up and running.  There are still problems on Schultz Ln.  They requested that speed limit signs of 25 mph be posted from County Z to where the forest road starts as there currently are no signs.  The board agreed to put up signs.  Resident asked about whether or not we are in line for a LRIP grant but as of now those grants are up in the air.  Another resident requested that the flag be replaced at the corner of County Z and US 141.  There also were some garbage questions that were answered. 

Motion to adjourn meeting by Supervisor Groy, seconded by Supervisor Paulsen.  Meeting adjourned at 6:37 p.m.
