The meeting was called to order at 6:10 p.m.  Members Cindy Butterfield, John Wagner, Jeff Mueller, Lindi Magnuson and Dave Paulsen were present. 

No minutes read.  Update on project assignments showed that Cindy had sent an email to the county regarding deeds and followed up but Register of Deeds did not recall the email nor would they look for records.  We would need to do the research ourselves at the county department.  Dave Paulsen looked for articles for housing to put on facebook page and drafted a notice about doing a homeowner’s award to be awarded in April of 2027.  He handed copies out and suggestions were made for additions/corrections.   We would like a plaque at the town hall and a gift certificate for the homeowner.  We will put on the agenda for the next board meeting to have the board approve the award program.  Copies of the chamber’s visitor guide were given out.  Some suggestions were made to have them add to the guide.  Lindi will work on this.  John will work on fire risks information to post online for homeowners to review. 

Cindy received a proposal to put the ordinance book online for easier updates along with cleaning up the numbering of the chapters, etc.  The board will be deciding on the proposal at the next meeting.  When that is complete, the planning committee will review the book to see if any changes need to be made as we have not reviewed it for a couple of years. 

Next meeting will be October 28 at 6:00 p.m.  Motion to adjourn the meeting by John Wagner and seconded by Dave Paulsen.  Motion carried.  Meeting adjourned at 6:55 p.m.
