Recycling/garbage report showed that in July 19.79 tons of garbage was collected and 7.26 tons of recyclables.

Report on building permits and fire signs showed 4 building permits and one fire sign.  The fire sign was on Park Fence Road.  Building permit for Town Corner Lake Rd for a 40x50 detached garage on slab; permit for 30x50 garage on slab on Sonnenberg Road; permit for 30x30 detached garage on Lemke Trail and 40x10 deck on Amberg/Beecher Road.

All of the towns received a communication from the county regarding ballast boats with a sample ordinance that could be used.  The town of Beecher does not have a problem at this time so it was decided to file the sample to use if needed at a later date.

Highway/road report showed that the crew has been hauling gravel again.  They have used up two piles by the town shed and are creating a third pile to use on roads.  The truck that was down has been repaired and the other truck will need new tires before snow comes.  Resident Borisch questioned why Jossart is still gravel and if the town had plans to blacktop it.  At this time we do not plan to do any more to the road due to cost.  The culverts were replaced and the road was built up some years ago with gravel but at this time we do not have the funds to blacktop.

No correspondence.

Public comments were that W8587 Weckerle was not getting picked up for garbage and recycling.  The clerk will alert GFL.  There is also some dumping happening in that area.  The sheriff’s office was called but the dispatcher referred them to the chairman.  The chairman will follow up with the sheriff’s department.
