BOARD MEETING MINUTES
2/9/21
The board meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. All board members were present along with 6 residents. Pledge of allegiance was recited.
Changes to the agenda were a brief website report and ordinance report. Website was quoted from $800 - $1000 and came in at $854.75. Ordinance report was that there were a total of 75 permits in 2020. This included land use, building, driveway and razing permits.
Minutes of the 1/12/2021 meeting were read. Motion to accept the minutes as read by Supervisor Groy, seconded by Supervisor Paulsen. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s report given. Motion to accept the report as given by Supervisor Groy, seconded by Supervisor Paulsen. Motion carried.
Recycling report showed that in January there were 14.45 tons of garbage and 3.58 tons of recyclables/paper.
Last month there were no building permits and no fire signs.
Discussion of ongoing road improvement projects was that the crew was doing snow removal.
Correspondence was a resolution from the county, a letter from the land information department re: survey landmarks.
Public comments: a resident asked if storage containers were allowed and was told they are but need a permit and they cannot be used for residence. Permits are required for anything $2500 fair market value and over. Also a resident is looking for bids for dust control on Schultz Lane. Supervisor Groy briefly discussed that they are looking at an enzyme for dust control but need to do more research on it. Cost is about $6000 a mile.
Next meeting will be March 9, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
