Board Meeting Minutes
08/10/21
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Roll call showed full board attendance along with 6 residents and 1 visitor. Motion by Supervisor Paulsen to adopt agenda, seconded by Supervisor Groy. Motion carried.
July 2021 minutes were read with motion by Supervisor Groy, seconded by Supervisor Paulsen to accept as read. Motion carried.
Treasurer’s report given with motion by Supervisor Groy, seconded by Chairman Younglove to accept as given.
Recycling/garbage report showed that for the month of July there were 19.04 tons of garbage and 3.77 tons of recyclables.
Report on building permits/fire signs showed that there were 13 building permits and 7 fire signs. Town Line road for 2 shipping containers 10x12 (before ordinance); Bigwoods Ln for 8x16 outbuilding and 10x16 porch; Cliff Ln for a roof replacement; Shoreline for a 13x14 addition; Sand Rd for a 14x28 outbuilding; Bigwoods Trl for a 10x14, another 10x14 an a 12x28 building; Towerline for 26x44 home; Bigwoods for a 8x20 shipping container; Dam Rd for 20x23 garage addition; Haupt Dr for a 30x40 detached garage; Crowe Rd for z 20x25 outbuilding and Marek Rd for a 10x18 outbuilding. Motion by Supervisor Groy, seconded by Supervisor Paulsen to accept the report.
Camper variance for Terry and Denise Denny to put an additional camper on their 4 acre property. James Vandenberg, son, represented them. Discussion by board of what the variance meant and that there was a time limit on the variance. Mr. Vandenberg understood. Motion by Supervisor Paulsen to approve variance limited to 6 years, seconded by Supervisor Groy. Motion carried.
Discussion of road improvement projects showed that the grader is repaired and the crew is grading, brushing/mowing the road. A tractor tire needed replacement and there was some storm damage that needed attention. We may possibly get some gravel from the Northeast Wisconsin pit.
Correspondence was a letter from WPS regarding next year’s construction projects and a preliminary census for the town of 741.
Public comments were that there was a rock on Roth that may be a problem for snowplowing.
Motion to approve payment of bills in the amount of $24907.73 by Chairman Younglove, seconded by Supervisor Groy. Motion carried.
Date/time of next meeting will be September 14, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
Motion to adjourn by Supervisor Groy, seconded by Supervisor Paulsen. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:28 pm.
Reminder that Open Book is August 20th from 1-3 pm. Board of Review is August 27th from 1-3 pm.
