The board meeting was called to order at 6:00p.m. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. All board members were present along with 7 residents. Motion to adopt agenda by Supervisor Groy, seconded by Supervisor Paulsen. Motion carried.
Minutes of August 10, 2021 were read. Motion to accept report by Supervisor Groy, seconded by Supervisor Paulsen. Motion carried.
Treasurer's report given. Motion to accept report by Supervisor Groy, seconded by Supervisor Paulsen. Motion carried.
Recycling report showed that in August there were 22.42 tons of garbage and 4.07 tons of recyclables/paper.
In August there were 3 building permits and 1 fire sign. Bigwoods Trail for a 16x32 outbuilding and the fire sign; Dam Road for a 27x13 addition; and Sand Road for a 27x76 manufactured home on a slab.
Variance for a mobile home that is beyond the year per ordinance but has had many updates and has lost little value. Mr. Pace showed pictures of the inside and outside of the mobile home and the paperwork was reviewed by the board. Motion by Supervisor Groy, seconded by Supervisor Paulsen to approve the variance. Motion carried.
Discussion of ongoing road improvement projects showed that the crew has been hauling gravel, grading and has finished brushing. He is also ordering culverts.
Public comments were that a resident was concerned about travel trailers without permits at W7922 Jossart Road. The ordinance administrator will be contacted.
Motion by Chairman Younglove, seconded by Supervisor Groy to approve payment of bills in the amount of $42,058.22. Motion carried.
