Recycling report showed that in November there were 20.97 tons of garbage and 4.17 tons of recyclables.

In the month of November there was 1 building permit:  on US Hwy 141 for a 12x24 addition and 1 fire sign.

Variance was discussed with Mr. Williams.  His container cannot be placed behind his cabin due to the steepness of the hill.  He wants to put it into the trees however Supervisor Paulsen pointed out that there is an easement near where he wants to place it.  Chairman Younglove requested that Supervisor Paulsen work with Mr. Williams as to exact placement and come back to the next month and then the board will take action on the variance.

Chairman Younglove gave a brief overview of the contract with Great American.  They will begin to pick up beginning in January.  They are trying to keep Mondays for pick up and will let us know if the day of the week changes as soon as they can so we can get the info out to the residents.  New 96 gallon garbage containers will come to us later, February or March and we will put them together and get them out to residents.  All garbage will need to be in the new container to get picked up.  We will not get new recycling containers at this time.  Residents will use the old Waste Management containers for recycling after they get their new garbage containers.  If a person does not have a Waste Management container, they can use a regular garbage can with recycling written on it.  Until the containers come in, all residents are to use the containers they have now.  Motion by Supervisor Groy, seconded by Chairman Younglove to approve the contract.  Motion carried.

The Election Inspector list for 2022 and 2023 was reviewed and motion to approve the list was brought by Supervisor Groy, seconded by Supervisor Paulsen.  Motion carried.

Motion by Supervisor Paulsen, seconded by Supervisor Groy to use $300 of the ARPA COVID funds for the zoning personnel which were missed at the last meeting.  Motion carried.

Discussion of ongoing road improvement projects showed that we have received 1200 yards of gravel from Northeast Asphalt.  The truck sensor issue has been fixed and we are hoping that the truck stays working.  The crew have been plowing snow and sanding.

No Correspondence.

Public comments were that if you did not have a Waste Management garbage container, currently, what are your options.  Steve Coron said you could use a regular garbage can and write recycling on it.  Another resident asked about snow being pushed across the road.  Chairman Younglove said that you could get the fire number and we could write a letter to the resident.

Chairman Younglove made a motion to approve payment of bills in the amount of $35,591.38, seconded by Supervisor Groy.  Motion carried.

Next meeting will be January 11th at 6:00 p.m.  Motion to adjourn by Supervisor Groy, seconded by Supervisor Paulsen.  Motion carried.  Meeting adjourned at 6:40 p.m.
