The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m.  Pledge of Allegiance was recited and all members were present.  Minutes of past meetings will be sent to all members.  They will also be posted on the website.

Ordinance discussion:

12-08 Snowmobile - All old snowmobile ordinances to be discarded as it is under traffic code 7.09 and the state code is referenced and the rules for snowmobiles are also referenced.

19-03 Trailer Ordinance - First of all old ordinances 6-13-17 and 8-8-17 need to be eliminated as 19-03 is newer and was an update.  All monetary amounts should be referenced to the fee schedule and taken out of the ordinance.  The ordinance needs to be renamed Recreational Vehicle/Motor Home/Camper Trailer Ordinance so that it is clearer.  It should be installed under Chapter 12.  As for the 6 year provision, it needs to be clarified with wording such as “If property is sold with a recreational vehicle/motor home/camper trailer, the 6 year period is enforced.  If the recreational vehicle/motor home/camper trailer is removed when sold, new property owner can put his own recreational vehicle/motor home/camper trailer on the property and the 6 year period can begin again.

05-2005 Fire Protection – The new has everything that the old seems to have.  Again, we need to put words in to “reimburse the town according the fee schedule available” instead of actual monetary amounts i.e. $500 fee.

06-08-04 Comprehensive Plan – This should have been a resolution and not an ordinance.  Eliminate it completely.

Next meeting and subsequent meetings will be the 4th Tuesday of the month, the next being February 22, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.  Agenda will be to continue and hopefully finish reviewing the ordinances.

Motion to adjourn by John Wagner, seconded by Jeff Mueller.  Motion carried.  Meeting adjourned at 7:10 p.m.
