Clean Up Day Discussion – Last year went well with having people bring their items to the GAD terminal just south of Niagara.  It was considerably less in cost for the town.  We are looking at Friday, June 3rd, awaiting confirmation from GAD(GFL) on the date.  As before if you want to take your items there you will need to contact the clerk for a ticket to use.  Motion by Chairman Younglove, seconded by Supervisor Paulsen to use the June 3rd date as the clean up day.  If it is unavailable, will use the June 10th.  Motion carried.  Information will be put out on the website and facebook.  Tickets can be picked up at the office or emailed/mailed to persons requesting them.

Complaints on Junk and Junk Cars in the town was brought up by Chairman Younglove and Supervisor Groy.  There is an ordinance stating that all vehicles have to be in working order and registered.  The board decided to table this and take no action at this time.

Discussion of ongoing road improvement projects show that the crew has been out grading, brushing, hauling gravel and they put a new culvert in on the fire lane.  The crew also cleared some trees that were downed in storms.  Chairman Younglove met with Coleman Engineering regarding BIL grants and they are working on an application for Jossart Road and Marek Road that is due in June 1st.  If we do not get grant money for 2023, we can use the application for 2024 or 2025.  Supervisor Groy will be working with Gary to get Scott Construction in to look at other roads for maintenance work for this year.

There was no correspondence.  Public comments were that the generator has a new control panel and now needs a pressure control switch.  We will have to look at replacing the generator in approximately 8 years.  Other comment was that the school has students that will be coming in to rake the park at the town hall and then go over to the Beecher lake park to do some clean up.
