The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Members present were Dave Paulsen, Cindy Butterfield, Jeff Mueller and Lindi Magnusen. John Wagner was absent. Minutes of last meeting were read. Motion by Jeff Mueller to accept as read, seconded by Dave Paulsen. Motion carried.
We begin discussion on the Town Comprehensive Plan. Dave Paulsen gave us the attorney opinion from the towns association or the update process. We need to add internet access, cell coverage and demographics from census need to be updated. Our population has become more “senior” since the original plan. We divided the chapters up as such for future review: Issues and Opportunities – All; Housing – Lindi; Transportation – Cindy; Utility – Jeff; Agriculture – Dave; Economic – John. We will read our sections asking ourselves, “How does the section reviewing look today or should look?” We can also look to the US Bureau of Census for information.
Next meeting will be July 26th at 6:00 p.m. Motion to adjourn by Cindy Butterfield, seconded by Jeff Mueller. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned.
