The Town of Beecher Plan Commission is establishing an annual maintenance recognition program to award one property owner each year for his/her efforts to improve their property’s appearance. The property must be in the Town of Beecher and must be visible from a public street. Nominations for the award can be made by any individual with knowledge of the efforts by the property owner, or by the property owner themself. Submissions must have consent of property owner. Evidence of what improvements the property owner made will need to be submitted. Such evidence should include before and after photos with date stamps on the photos. A written description of the improvements will also be needed. Nominations are to be submitted to the Beecher Town Hall by October 1st of each year, beginning with Oct 1, 2026. The award, which will be a $100 gift card to a Town of Beecher business, will be given at the Annual Town meeting in April of each year, beginning in 2027.
